Poker, MTV & One Mayfair

Monday May 23rd 2011

At the Mum & Dad Studios in Shoreditch with the PKR Magazine team for a cover shoot with European Poker Tour Snowfest Champion, Vladimir Geshkenbein ('Bein'). The brief for the final shot of the day meant we got to have some fun with fake blood and bruises - Bein left the shoot to catch a flight still wearing said bruises and fake blood - wonder if they let him on the plane?!  : )

Tuesday May 24th 2011

Working at MTV Studios in Camden this afo with TV presenter Helena Dowling, makeup artist Kit Hall and the Nickelodeon Jnr team for Wake Up World...before a short dash across town to One Mayfair where I joined makeup artist Jo Adams and her team down in the crypt for a Dom Perignon event - One Mayfair is an incredible venue: www.onemayfair.com/

Being affectionately known as 'Lash Bitch' (!) I got straight into applying some seriously striking neon green false lashes for the girls who were serving champagne for the evening and some beautiful 'Decadence' Antique Silver Diamante lashes by Illamasqua for the dancers.

With their glitter, big hair and bespoke black dresses that lit up in neon green, all of the girls of course, looked beyond fabulous!

Range Rover Evoque Live, Earls Court, London

Thursday May 19th 2011

At Earls Court in London today doing makeup for models and dancers rehearsing for Land Rover's launch event of their new Range Rover Evoque.

An amazing moving video installation, super hot dancers and super chic models, incredible outfits and of course the fantastic new Range Rover Evoque (which by the way is now firmly on my wish list, in white please!) all made for a pretty glamorous Thursday afternoon.

Airbrushing at The London College of Fashion with makeup artist Susanna Peretz

I wanted to do a take on the Geisha look using a lace pattern across the eyes in a bright neon pink and some red for added drama and definition around the eyes.

Experimenting on the back of my hand...

The final result with added black lace on the right eyebrow.
