A Day with Spencer Matthews and a Bottle of Baby Oil

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of working with Photographer Ruth Rose (www.ruthrose.co.uk) Stylist Laurie Hadleigh (www.LaurieHadleigh.com), Caroline Watts from Signature Calendars (@Signaturecals) and the one and only Spencer Matthews from TV show Made in Chelsea.
The calendar shoot was great fun and somehow involved me spraying Spenny with a lot of baby oil!

'Lorraine Naked 2'

Lorraine Kelly has launched a new competition on her ITV1 breakfast show to find the nation's most naturally beautiful girls.

Last week we spent a day shooting and filming at Holborn Studios where 5 girls in the under 40's and 5 ladies in the over 40's were photographed by Nicky Johnston, completely naked...of makeup that is!

Competition to reach the final 3 was fierce in both the under and over 40's, but the panel of judges; model, photographer and wife of Rod Stewart, Penny Lancaster, celebrity photographer Nicky Johnston http://www.nickyjohnston.co.uk/ and beauty editor Rosie Green @Life's_Rosie did really well in making their decision and the final 3, in the under 40's category are:
Rebecca Mellor, 30, Shanecka Hamilton, 20 and Pia Bryne, 19

I was working at the shoot to do touch ups for Penny Lancaster and Nicky Johnston. It was a brilliant day, the team were great fun and I'm looking forward to seeing who will be crowned the winner!

Illamasqua Beauty School Drop In

What a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon - FREE (!) 'Beauty School Drop In' makeup classes at the Illamasqua flagship store on Beak Street, London town.

And, the icing on the cake, Creative Director ALEX BOX showed up looking totally fabulous, at the same time that her signature lip colour BOX was being used for a Perfect Pout demo!

The South Bank Sky Arts Awards at The Dorchester

Last Tuesday I was working as a trophy girl at the sixteenth annual South Bank Sky Arts Awards at the Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane, hosted by Melvyn Bragg and attended by the gliterrati of the Arts world.

Kate Bush, Michael Frayn, Tracey Emin, Tom Jones, Grayson Perry & Tim Minchin were just a few of the famous faces at the star studded event celebrating and honouring the Arts from Pop Music to Opera, from Dance to Theatre, Literature to Comedy, from Visual Art to Classical Music.

There were incredible performances during the Awards by Gregory Porter, Alison Balsom and Noah Stewart.

PKR, Poker

Last week we did some filming for PKR www.pkr.com in Shoreditch.
There was a powercut in the studio so we were forced to film on the roof - in the lovely bright sunshine - it was tough!

Clearly some people were working harder than others! ; )
